Textiles & Handicrafts Tours of Gujarat

Itinerary Details

Day 1 :Ahmedabad (Arrival)

On arrival at Ahmedabad, You will be welcomed by a Tusk Travel representative who will assist you with a smooth transfer to your hotel.

After checking in at the hotel and departure, explore the Calico Museum of Textiles and other museums that showcase handicrafts. Stay in the hotel for the night.

Day 2 :Ahmedabad - Gondal

Get your day started by taking a drive to Sayla. When you arrive in Sayla, take lunch at the textiles hotel, then an excursion to the nearby village, where you can see the local weaver and beads.

After that, you will travel to Gondal, known for its cottage jewelry, beadwork, and jewelry in the brassware industry. After that, go to Naulakha Palace. Naulakha Palace is famous for its stunning collection of brass utensils, silverware, beadwork, and handmade wooden toys.

Stay the night in the hotel located in Gondal.

Day 3 :Gondal - Jetpur - Junagadh - Gir

Start your day with an excursion towards Gir via Jetpur, known for its screen and block printing and textile machines.

Day 4 :Gir - Jamnagar

Today, take the road to Gir Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park. Gir Wildlife Sanctuary is famous for being the last resting place for the Asiatic Lions.

After the game drive in the country, the park continues the journey to Jamnagar, which is famous as a place for Bandhini's work.

Stay the night at the Hotel in Jamnagar.

Day 5 :Jamnagar - Kutch - Bhuj

Get your day started with a delicious breakfast and finish the check-out formalities. Travel toward Bhuj and stop in Anjar city, the heart of the metal and textile handicrafts within the Kutch district. The city has a wide variety of handicrafts made of metal. While there, make sure to go to Anjar or Ajrakhpur Village. The villages are where the artisans create block paintings. This art form is known as "Ajrakh". Here, you can observe the printing block process and purchase souvenirs for those you love.

After that, take a drive towards Bhuj. When you arrive, you'll receive a facilitated check-in to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax.

Enjoy a delicious dinner in the hotel, and then enjoy an unwinding night's stay.

Day 6 :Explore Nearby tribal villages and The White Rann area

Get up earlier in the day, and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then, you can embark on an excursion to see the Kutch.

On the way, you can visit several tribal villages in the region. They are known for their Ahir embroidery as well as Rabari embroidery.

Day 7 :Full Day Village Tour

After dinner, you can go to The Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary, which is home to many rare species of wildlife like The Indian Wild Ass, Nilgai and wolf, desert fox, and many more. The sanctuary also hosts migrants like Sarus Crane, Ducks, Dalmatian Pelican, and flamingoes.

After your exciting journey, you can return to your hotel and settle into your comfy beds to rest and relax.

Day 9 :Little Rann of Kutch - Modhera - Patan

Start your day with an exquisite breakfast and begin the sightseeing trip to Patan. You can visit Modhera, which is famous for its Sun Temple of the Chalukya period.

Next, you will visit Patan, known for the double-ikat weave technique, which is often referred to as Patola Silk Weaving. Patola Sarees is one of the most beautiful hand-woven Sarees available in the present. It is possible to purchase the Sarees as a present for loved ones.

After a hectic day, check into the hotel for a night's stay.

Day 10 :Little Rann of Kutch - Ahmedabad

Begin your day with a delicious breakfast, and then ensure you have completed your check-out formalities. You will be provided with an assist in getting to Ahmedabad.

When you arrive, be sure to make sure you have completed the formalities for check-in. The remainder of the day can be spent at your leisure.

You can visit the local market or relax at the hotel. Eat a mouthwatering meal and stay for the night.

Day 11 :Ahmedabad - Departure
