Namchi

Yuksom

Yuksom is one of the best places to visit in West Sikkim because it is an old historic town which has so much to offer to its visitors. Lachung and Yumthang Valley

Lachun is the home to the nomadic tribes and it is a small village to the Buddhists who live in this area. It is in high altitude and totally covered with snow-capped mountains. Zuluk

Zuluk is considered as an offbeat destination in Sikkim. It is a small village in Sikkim which is known for its Silk route and with all its twists and turns. If you are looking for snowfall, then Zuluk will provide you with the best views. The Silk route has a history of its own and filled with lush vegetation on both sides.

Nag temple and Thambi Viewpoint are important locations to visit here. The weather remains foggy in Zuluk.

Ravangla

Nathula Pass

Nathula Pass in Sikkim is the border to Tibet and it is located at a height of 4,310 m above sea level. One part of the Nathula pass connects to the ancient silk route and it is damn beautiful. One of the activities to try out here is Yak Safari which is common in Sikkim. There is a war memorial built here in memory of all the soldiers.

Border gates of India and China are something to be checked out. The oxygen levels are low in this place and the weather conditions keep on changing, The best time to visit is from May to October.

Teesta River

This river is one of the different places which you can visit in Sikkim. Teesta River looks glazing and magical during winters as the river is frozen at that time. During the springtime, the rays of the sun create a beam which creates such beautiful scenery. Many flowers bloom in this area that you have never heard of.

River rafting can be tried out here and also some other places worth visiting are Dikshu River and the flora that grows on the banks of the river. During winters, you can find ice pieces on the river.
