Summer season

The summer season is from April to June and the weather remains calm and pleasant during this time of the year. It is advisable to carry woollen clothes during the summer season as well because there can be a sudden drop in the temperatures at night.

The prices of hotels rise at this time and it is the perfect time to check out Yumthang valley and Rumtek Monastery. Many trekking groups can also be seen during this season.

Monsoon season
