Naina Devi Temple, Nainital

Located in Bilaspur District, Shri Naina Devi Ji temple is one of the most notable places of worship in Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths where limbs of Sati fell on Earth.

A special fair is organized during Chaitra, Shravan, and Ashwin Navrati, which attracts millions of visitors from Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and other corners of the country.

The great Shivalik range of the Himalayas surrounds the town and the temple is guarded by the highest peak Mt. Nanda Devi which is believed to be the sister of goddess Naina Devi.

The temple is located at the Northern end of Naini Lake in the Mallital area. It is about 350 km from Delhi and 100 km from Chandigarh and about 85 km from Bilaspur Sadar.

There is no entry fee for visiting the temple. You can go on any day of the week between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm.
