Kempty Falls Mussoorie

The Kempty Falls is situated on the hilly tracks of Uttarakhand, India, 13 km from Mussoorie on the Chakrata Road. Known for its milky streams of water, Kempty Falls was developed in the year 1835, by a British officer, John Mekinan as a place for organizing tea parties. It offers a remarkable view as the water dropping from a height of about 50 feet flowing through five cascading falls downstream.

Developed before more than 150 years ago, Kempty Falls is the most fascinating picnic spot or a perfect day out at a place nearby Mussoorie at a distance of 15 km.

The lower waterfall is very popular and attracts a large crowd while the upper one is relatively calm.

Entry Fee at Kempty Falls & Ropeway 

There is no entry fee.

The ticket price for paying a visit to Kempty falls base using ropeway is Rs 120 to Rs 150 per person for both sides. The other charges for visitors include locker charges as Rs 50 per person, changing room as Rs 10 per person, costume price as Rs 20 per person, and parking fee as Rs 40 per person.
