Bangalore Palace is the Royal Palace of Bangalore. It is situated in the area owned by Rev.J.Garrett, the then principal of the Central High School. The building was bought by Chamarajendra Wadiyar X while he was still minor getting ready to ascend the throne. The building dates back to 1881 AD and was bought because the young king did not have a place to stay while undergoing training in Bangalore.
