This comes as a result of the government&#8217;s push for early completion of the project. According to Lt Gen Harpal Singh, the Indian Army&#8217;s Engineer in Chief, a large number of stretches have already been completed.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this, he stated that they hoped to have finished the work on the road by the year 2024, which would allow pilgrims to use their vehicles all the way to the last point in India.<\/p>\n<p>Upon completion of the project, it is expected to greatly aid pilgrims in their travels. A tunnel will also be built at some points along the route in order to reduce the amount of time that is required to reach the designated spot, he said.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the new route, pilgrims will have to travel to Pithorgath and then to Lipulekh Pass, which is located near the Chinese border, in order to reach the sanctuary.<\/p>\n<p>A note must be made regarding the fact that there is an
