{"id":26822,"date":"2022-11-02T01:37:43","date_gmt":"2022-11-02T01:37:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tusktravel.com\/blog\/?p=26822"},"modified":"2022-11-02T06:51:48","modified_gmt":"2022-11-02T06:51:48","slug":"launch-of-three-flights-connecting-five-northeastern-states","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tusktravel.com\/blog\/launch-of-three-flights-connecting-five-northeastern-states\/","title":{"rendered":"Launch of three flights connecting five Northeastern states"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-2.5\" data-private=\"redact\" data-wt-guid=\"243c1488-472c-4a39-b604-1d85e30faf77\" data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister of Civil Aviation, recently inaugurated flights connecting <strong>five cities in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tusktravel.com\/india\/assam-tours\/\">Assam<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tusktravel.com\/india\/arunachal-pradesh-tours\/\">Arunachal Pradesh<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tusktravel.com\/india\/meghalaya-tours\/\">Meghalaya<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tusktravel.com\/india\/manipur-tours\/\">Manipur<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tusktravel.com\/india\/mizoram-tours\/\">Mizoram<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-2.5\" data-private=\"redact\" data-wt-guid=\"4890741a-5b26-4479-8fe8-53ada500b6da\">The government plans to operate two of the flights on the <strong>routes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tusktravel.com\/india\/imphal-tours\/\">Imphal<\/a>-Aizawl-Imphal, Lilabari-<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tusktravel.com\/india\/ziro-tours\/\">Ziro<\/a>-Lilabari, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tusktravel.com\/india\/shillong-tours\/\">Shillong<\/a>-Lilabari-Shillong <\/strong>under its Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS).<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-2.5\" data-private=\"redact\" data-wt-guid=\"8f1a0ca2-bc49-4fb6-ba15-4b41151ccd37\">As part of RCS UDAN, Imphal-<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tusktravel.com\/india\/aizawl-tours\/\">Aizawl<\/a>-Imphal will be connected five times a week, whereas <strong>Shillong-Lilabari-Shillong<\/strong> will be connected four times a week. A further report suggests that Alliance Air will operate <strong>two flights per week between Lilabari-Ziro-Lilabari.<\/strong> These flights will be operated twice a week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-2.5\" data-private=\"redact\" data-wt-guid=\"d0468371-1155-45c7-a344-c5ce8eb42411\">By enhancing aerial connectivity in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tusktravel.com\/india\/north-east-tours\/\">Northeastern<\/a> part of the country, these flights will contribute to the ease of living for the residents.
