This hill station is in the foothills of the Himalayas, so the weather there’s fantastic all year long. Because of where it is, the winters are frigid. And the rainy season is not a good time to go because the land is hilly. During the monsoons, landslides are ordinary in hilly areas, sometimes stranding tourists with no way to get home or to other places. Because of this, spring and summer are the safest times to visit Khajjiar. If you want to see Switzerland in India, the best time is between March & September, except for July & August.<\/p>\n

Once you get to Dalhousie<\/a>, it’s not too hard to get to the Khajjiar hill station. You can take a taxi or share a taxi. You can also drive to Khajjiar from Chamba, which is 26 km away.<\/p>\n
