China recently began operations on international flights following a 2-year suspension due to the COVID-19 virus. According to reports, there isn’t confirmation regarding the return of flights to India<\/a> even though Beijing lifted the visa ban for Indian professionals and family members last month. Reports indicate that China has also reduced quarantine time to seven days at designated hotels to streamline the procedures for travellers entering the country. This will be followed by three days of isolation in the home of the former two-day quarantine for inbound travellers.<\/p>\n

The policy has increased flights connecting China with countries worldwide, particularly that of the United States, along with the number of travellers outside the country.<\/p>\n

China was also making significant changes in the wake of the COVID-19 epidemic when consulates and embassies from the 125 nations announced measures to make allowing people to enter the Chinese mainland easier.<\/p>\n

However, there have been no regular flights between India and China since November 2020, and no flights between countries have been announced until now.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, Beijing lifted the two-year ban on visas for Indian employees and families working in different Chinese cities; however, travelling to China was a problem because no flights connecting the two countries have been scheduled.<\/p>\n

Currently, China has permitted limited flights to some nations in the region, including Nepal<\/a>, Sri Lanka<\/a>, and Pakistan.<\/p>\n

Concerning those Indian experts and families who started applying for Chinese visas to India to return, They also said that they face challenges since there aren’t any direct flights into China.<\/p>\n
