These dates were determined in a meeting between Narinder Jit Singh Bindra, Chairman of the Gurdwara Shri Hemkund Sahib Management Trust, and Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Radha Raturi. Currently, the entire region is covered in snow, with depths ranging from 5 to 8 feet.
